Work Package 2: Measuring mitochondrial function at multiple levels of complexity.

AL1: Analysis of molecular kinetics.

This action line aims to develop a model of skeletal myoblasts and myotubes. In this purpose the functional properties of key components (enzymes, channels, transporters) of the model will be determined.

Lauriane obtained her M.Sc. in Biochemistry and Structural Biology at the Joseph Fourier University Grenoble, France in 2010. During her internships at the Laboratory of Bioenergetics in Grenoble and at the department of Biophysics and Physiology in Århus, she studied the role of cytoskeleton on mitochondrial function and the action of different inhibitors on the SERCA ATPase respectively. She is currently working on the characterization of  calcium transporters in myotubes.
